NEET 2025 Application Form Start: NTA has released the NEET 2025 Information bulletin on its official website https://neet.nta.nic.in/ along with that exam date i.e. 4 May 2025. The information bulletin for NEET 2025 includes all the important information that an aspirant must know about.

NEET Exam Pattern 2025 Changed: The NEET UG 2025 exam will see a major change after four years, as the National Testing Agency (NTA) has decided to remove optional questions from Section B, which were introduced during the COVID-19 pandemic. Candidates appearing for NEET UG 2025 will no longer have the flexibility of optional questions or additional time, as the exam reverts to its pre-COVID format.

Section B, introduced during the pandemic to support students, has been in practice for four years. For NEET UG 2025, the question paper will include 180 compulsory questions, with 45 each in Physics and Chemistry, and 90 in Biology. Candidates will have 180 minutes to complete the exam, with no additional time provided.

The NEET UG 2025 exam will be conducted in pen-and-paper mode during a single shift.

NTA has also released the official syllabus for NEET 2025. The syllabus has been finalized by the Undergraduate Medical Education Board (UGMEB) under the National Medical Commission (NMC). Students can check the syllabus on the NMC’s official website (nmc.org.in) and the NTA NEET portal.

NEET Exam 2025 Overview

The NEET 2025 exam is a national-level entrance test conducted for admission to MBBS, BDS, and other undergraduate medical programs across India. NEET 2025 Exam Pattern

Each correct answer will earn 4 marks, while 1 mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer, and unattempted questions will carry no marks. One key change for NEET UG 2025 is the removal of Section B, which previously included optional questions. This means that all 180 questions will be mandatory for candidates, ensuring a uniform and fair exam experience for all.

NEET 2025 Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the eligibility criteria for NEET 2025, including age, educational qualifications, and nationality, to appear for the exam. Make sure to check all requirements before applying.

NEET Eligibility Criteria 2025

Nationality: Indian Nationals, NRIs, OCIs, PIOs, and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply.

Age Limit: Candidates must be at least 17 years old by December 31, 2025. No upper age limit as per the Supreme Court’s order.

Educational Qualification: Must have passed 10+2 or equivalent with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology, and English.

Minimum Marks in Qualifying Exam: General category: 50%, OBC/SC/ST: 40%, PwD: 45%

Number of Attempts: No limit on the number of attempts.

Year of Passing: Candidates who are appearing for their qualifying exam in 2025 are also eligible to apply.

NEET 2025 Admit Card

The NEET 2025 admit card is expected to be released by 1 May 2025, and the NEET 2025 exam will held on May 4, 2025. NEET 2025 Result

NTA usually announces the NEET exam results approximately one month after the exam is conducted. The result of NEET 2025 is expected to be announced on 14, June 2025 on the official NTA website.
